It has a rich set of functions, and the functions have a regular interface. GNU MP is designed to be as fast as possible, both for small operands and for huge operands. The speed is achieved by using fullwords as the basic arithmetic type, by using fast algorithms, by carefully optimized assembly code for the most common inner loops for a lot of CPUs, and by a general emphasis on speed (instead of simplicity or elegance). %prep %setup -q %build CC="%{l_cc}" \ CFLAGS="%{l_cflags -O}" \ ./configure \ --prefix=%{l_prefix} \ --disable-shared %{l_make} %{l_mflags -O} %install rm -rf $RPM_BUILD_ROOT %{l_make} %{l_mflags} install AM_MAKEFLAGS="DESTDIR=$RPM_BUILD_ROOT" rm -f $RPM_BUILD_ROOT%{l_prefix}/info/dir %{l_rpmtool} files -v -ofiles -r$RPM_BUILD_ROOT %{l_files_std} %files -f files %clean rm -rf $RPM_BUILD_ROOT
