The program reads a text and decides which sentences are important and which are not. The program can either print the summarized text as text or HTML. If HTML, the important sentences are highlighted. The program is multi-lingual and works with UTF-8 encoding. The Open Text Summarizer summarizes texts in English, German, Spanish, Russian, Hebrew, Esperanto and other languages. To support more languages or tweak existing languages can be done by simply editing an XML file of rules. %track prog ots = { version = %{version} url = http://sourceforge.net/projects/libots/files/ regex = ots-(__VER__)\.tar\.gz } %prep %setup -q %patch -p0 %build CC="%{l_cc}" \ CFLAGS="%{l_cflags -O}" \ CPPFLAGS="%{l_cppflags}" \ LDFLAGS="%{l_ldflags}" \ ./configure \ --prefix=%{l_prefix} \ --with-popt-prefix=%{l_prefix} \ --disable-gtk-doc \ --disable-shared %{l_make} %{l_mflags} %install %{l_make} %{l_mflags} install AM_MAKEFLAGS="DESTDIR=$RPM_BUILD_ROOT" strip $RPM_BUILD_ROOT%{l_prefix}/bin/* >/dev/null 2>&1 || true %{l_rpmtool} files -v -ofiles -r$RPM_BUILD_ROOT %{l_files_std} %files -f files %clean
