  47. %description
  48. Valgrind is a tool that helps you find memory management problems
  49. in programs. When a program is run under Valgrind's supervision,
  50. all reads and writes of memory are checked, and calls to
  51. malloc/new/free/delete are intercepted. As a result, Valgrind can
  52. detect problems such as use of uninitialized memory, reading/writing
  53. of memory after it has been freed, reading/writing off the end
  54. of malloced blocks, reading/writing inappropriate areas on the
  55. stack, memory leaks in which pointers to malloced blocks are lost
  56. forever, passing of uninitialized and/or unaddressable memory
  57. to system calls, and mismatched use of malloc/new/new [] vs.
  58. free/delete/delete []
