  46. Kerberos is a network authentication protocol. It is designed to
  47. provide strong authentication for client/server applications by
  48. using secret-key cryptography. This is the free implementation of
  49. this protocol, as available from the Massachusetts Institute of
  50. Technology (MIT). Kerberos is available in many commercial products
