  42. %description
  43. Gcal is a program for calculating and printing calendars. Gcal
  44. displays hybrid and proleptic Julian and Gregorian calendar sheets,
  45. respectively for one month, three months, or a whole year. It also
  46. displays eternal holiday lists for many countries around the globe,
  47. and features a very powerful creation of fixed date liststhat can be
  48. used for reminding purposes. Gcal can calculate various astronomical
  49. data and times of the Sun and the Moon for pleasure at any location,
  50. precisely enough for most civil purposes. Gcal supports some other
  51. calendar systems, for example, the Chinese and Japanese calendars,
  52. the Hebrew calendar, and the civil Islamic calendar, too.
