POPT is a command line option parsing library, similar to getopt(3).
It contains a number of enhancements, including: it is fully
reentrant; it can parse arbitrary argv[] style arrays; it allows
users to alias command line arguments; it provides convience
functions for parsing strings into argv[] style arrays, etc.
