  46. %description
  47. Valgrind is a tool that helps you find memory management problems
  48. in programs. When a program is run under Valgrind's supervision,
  49. all reads and writes of memory are checked, and calls to
  50. malloc/new/free/delete are intercepted. As a result, Valgrind can
  51. detect problems such as use of uninitialized memory, reading/writing
  52. of memory after it has been freed, reading/writing off the end
  53. of malloced blocks, reading/writing inappropriate areas on the
  54. stack, memory leaks in which pointers to malloced blocks are lost
  55. forever, passing of uninitialized and/or unaddressable memory
  56. to system calls, and mismatched use of malloc/new/new [] vs.
  57. free/delete/delete []
